What Are AAC Blocks?
These are special types of bricks/ blocks made of cellular lightweight concrete material or autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC). AAC is made by mixing silica sand or fly ash, calcinated gypsum, lime, portland cement, water, and an aerating agent that is aluminium powder. This mixture is then placed in molds and heated at high temperature and pressure to make it Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks (AAC Blocks). These blocks offer insulation, fire resistance, mold or pest resistance, and are also eco-friendly.
